Pioneer Heritage Tour

7 Day 6 Night Guided Self Drive

Join us for a self drive adventure for the whole family, in the footsteps of several Pioneer oxwagon “"Trekkers," across mountain passes, only accessible by 4x4 vehicles. This 450km route is rich in history, bird life and 6000 plant species, of which 40% are endemic to the region. It crosses several spectacular mountain passes and bridges, designed by award winning engineers of the 18th century.

We drive through valleys and rivers on old oxwagan tracks, visit bushman paintings, gold mines and an award winning wine cellar, to name but a few. We sleep over in bush camps in mother nature with hot and cold running water, as well as ablution facilities.  Enjoy activities such as swimming, horse riding, canoeing and so much more to keep the whole family entertained.
