Conservancy Tour

Our Conservancy Tour starts near Uniondale and ends in the area around Plettenberg Bay.

This tour is three days following Burchells original route through the area now called Prince Alfreds Pass. We however rarely see the actual pass, choosing to stay on the original tracks.

The overnight facilities are primitive camping is in clearings where possible, there are no electricity or toilet facilities, you need to be fully self sufficient and willing to rough it a bit.

Vehicles with high ground clearance and low range are compulsory.

This trip is exclusive to Honeybee Outeniqua and well worth doing if you want to experience the Southern Cape like never before. Booking at least 30 days in advance. We cannot start the trip without at least 6 confirmed bookings. Best time of year , all year round although it can get very cold in the winter months.
